A clean, unadorned loafer with an easy authority — the kind of shoe that settles into a wardrobe and stays there for years.

The upper is cut from Yak Iron Filing Stain leather, a hide that carries a deep, mineral-toned finish achieved through an over-dye process. Yak leather is notably dense in fibre, resistant to creasing, and develops a quiet patina with wear rather than ageing carelessly.

Constructed with Blake stitching for a slim, close profile underfoot, the shoe is finished with a single leather sole. Each pair is made to order at Andrew McDonald's workshop in The Strand Arcade, Sydney.
